To see the preparations for the blast, officials of Noida Authority, Traffic Police, Pollution Department and other related departments arrived on Saturday and took stock.
Illegal Twin Towers of Sector 93A Supertech to be demolished. On Sunday, the blast process will take place at the Apex Tower. The explosives will reach the tower from Palwal at around 8 am on Sunday. Within five to six hours, the work of installing explosives on the basement and 14th floor will be completed. About 5 kg of explosives will be planted. This will be followed by a test blast at 2.30 pm. Officials said that in view of the test blast, the entry of vehicles on the roads around the towers will be closed from around 1 pm. Vehicles will be stopped from coming especially on the road in front of the towers and in front of the ATS Village Society. The officials of Edifice Company held a meeting with the residents of the society and explained the methodology.
Blast report will come in a week: It will take a week for the report of the test blast to be held on Sunday. It will be known from the report itself that how much explosive will be required in the demolition on May 22.
Ambulances and fire engines will also be there: Fire tenders and ambulances will be kept at a distance to deal with any emergency at the time of blast testing. An emergency assembly point has also been created. The engineering company has increased the height of the boundary wall around both the towers by using aluminum sheets, to prevent the spread of dust and debris to the surrounding buildings. At the same time, a security cordon has been made for the people of Emerald Court and ATS Village, which is guarded by the police force. For this, policemen will start arriving around 9-10 am on Sunday.
