Parvo virus is spreading very fast in dogs like corona in Udaipur and its surrounding areas of Rajasthan. Corona was spreading from human to human through contact with each other and parvo virus is spreading from dog to dog. In the body of dogs, this virus is infecting the stomach and intestine. Due to this the dogs are losing their food and the dogs are dying of hunger. Dog lovers are worried about this.
According to veterinarians, the good thing that has come out in the investigation so far is that this virus is infecting only dogs. All other animals like bull, goat, cow, horse and camel are completely safe. Dr. Sanjay Jain at the largest veterinary hospital located in Chetak Circle in Udaipur says that after March 15, the number of dogs coming to the hospital for treatment has suddenly increased up to six times. Dog lovers are bringing some of the street dogs, but it is natural for unclaimed dogs to die due to lack of treatment.
It is difficult to save life even in the hospital
Veterinarians say that it is also becoming difficult to save the lives of dogs being brought to the hospital. Due to deteriorating health, now the pet dogs are being brought to the hospital immediately. There is more trouble for those parents who have kept more dogs in their homes, farm houses and resorts. Parvo virus has been found in three dogs of Tiger Hill resident Anup Bhardwaj. One of them has died and two are undergoing treatment. Four dogs of Panchavati resident Dr. DP Shukla have died due to Parvo virus.
what are the symptoms
Dr. Sanjay Jain explains that dogs who are infected with Parvo virus first get fever. Due to the spread of infection in the stomach and intestines, stop drinking food. Dogs have frequent vomiting and diarrhea. Blood also comes out in the vomit. In the hospital too, arrangements have been made for treatment of dogs with other diseases at a separate place.
