Once again, the Yogi government’s bulldozer ran at the ancestral residence of former Uttar Pradesh MP Atiq Ahmed. Prayagraj Development Authority has bulldozer demolished the illegal boundary wall built on Ateeq’s land. Atiq’s ancestral residence was demolished by the Prayagraj Development Authority on 22 September 2020 through bulldozers. But then, a temporary boundary wall was erected, on which the bulldozer went on again today.
PDA officials said that action was taken earlier also at Atiq’s residence in Chakia. Meanwhile, the boundary was again made illegally. For which the PDA had also issued a notice, but the boundary was not removed. In that case it will be demolished. Along with this, the PDA will also remove the temporary and permanent construction of about 50 bighas of Khalid Zafar in the Bhiti area of Jhalwa.
Yogi’s bulldozer was thundering in Prayagraj yesterday too
On Sunday afternoon, seven illegal constructions including four shops were bulldozed by Prayagraj Development Authority. The boundary wall of the house of a relative of a former BJP MLA was also demolished. Earlier, when the PDA squad reached for the demolition, they had to face opposition. Alok Pandey, Special Officer, PDA said that on the orders of the court, all the constructions on the roadside were demolished. The PDA’s squad had also gone on Friday to demolish the houses but returned after seeing the protest of the people. The PDA had already pasted notices in front of all the demolished houses.
