As soon as the name of Pushkar Singh Dhami is stamped in Uttarakhand, many leaders of UP have blossomed. Their hopes have been awakened. These are the leaders who were ministers in the previous government but have lost the MLA’s election. Due to the election of Dhami, the discussion of these names has suddenly intensified. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya is being discussed the most among these names.
These days the most discussed is about the faces joining the Yogi cabinet. Due to this, the process of churning and trying is going on from Lucknow to Delhi. Meanwhile, the question has started floating in the political circles of the state whether the Dhami model will be applicable in UP also.
This model has also raised the hopes of many ministers and their close ones who have missed the election ladder. Not only this, many such ministers are also active about the return, whose performance was being questioned even in the first term. A minister from the Legislative Council quota coming from the West wants to return again.
Lost three cabinet, two independent charge and three ministers of state
Apart from Keshav Prasad Maurya, leaders like Suresh Rana, Rajendra Singh alias Moti Singh, Satish Chandra Dwivedi have not been able to become MLAs in the Yogi cabinet. Out of the 47 ministers who entered the fray, 10 ministers have lost the election.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, Suresh Rana and Rajendra Singh alias Moti Singh were cabinet ministers who lost the election. Among those with independent charge, Sports Minister Upendra Tiwari from Phephna and Basic Education Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi from Etawa have lost the elections.
Apart from this, many ministers of state have lost elections. Among them, Ranvendra Pratap Singh (Dhunni Singh) from Hussainganj, Sangeeta Balwant from Ghazipur, Anand Swaroop Shukla from Bairia, Chandrika Prasad Upadhyay from Chitrakoot and Chhatrapal Gangwar from Bareilly’s Baheri seat are prominent names.
