After the formation of the Uttar Pradesh government, the BJP is now preparing to make major changes in the organization. State President Swatantra Dev Singh has been included in the cabinet and this time it is being considered to give the command of the organization to someone else in his place. Following the policy of one person one post, BJP is looking for his replacement. Party sources say that this time a Brahmin leader can be given the command as the state president. With this the perception of the displeasure of the brahmins that was created can be cut off.
A senior party leader said, “The appointment of the state president is under discussion and the entire focus of this discussion is on giving command to a Brahmin leader only.” The name of Dinesh Sharma, who was Deputy Chief Minister in Yogi’s first term, is also running in this race. Apart from this, the names of State General Secretary Gopal Narayan Shukla and former Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma are also being discussed. The Brahmin fraternity constitutes more than 10 per cent of the total population in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, his sadhana is considered important for any party. BJP got 89 percent votes of Brahmin community in this assembly election. In such a situation, the party wants to repay this support with the appointment of the state president.
Allegations of neglect of brahmins will end
Before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, a panel of Brahmin leaders was prepared by the BJP to woo the voters of the fraternity. Let us inform that in the first term of Yogi Adityanath government, allegations of neglect of Brahmin community were leveled against BJP. In such a situation, the party believes that Brahmins can be wooed by making Brajesh Pathak Deputy CM and now giving the post of state president to a leader of the community.
Gopal Tandon can also get a place in the organization
In fact, the BJP’s effort is also that many senior leaders who were not included in the cabinet should also be included in the organization itself. This will also save them from their resentment and all the communities will get proper representation. Leaders like Senior Leader Gopal Tandon, Siddharth Nath Singh are also being considered for inclusion in the organization. Both these leaders were ministers in the first term of the Yogi Adityanath government, but this time they have not been able to find a place.
