Jio News: New Delhi, 21 July 2025: Reliance Jio has finished first in the field of fixed wireless access (FWA) service, leaving behind the US T-Mobile. More than 74 lakh customers are now connected to the company’s FWA service, provided under Jio Air Fiber. Mukesh Ambani, chairman and MD of Reliance Industries, made the announcement during the quarterly results. He said that Jio Fiber is also performing brilliantly with Jio Air Fiber, which has connected more than 2 crore campuses.
The company’s net profit increased year after year
Jio has also recorded an impressive growth on the 5G front, adding more than 1.2 million customers to its True 5G network. Financially, the company has performed strongly, in which the average revenue (ARPU) per customer has increased to ₹ 208.8 per month. The net profit of the company has increased from 24.8% to ₹ 7,110 crore from year to year.
Expressing satisfaction over the financial results of the company, Mukesh Ambani said, “Our digital service business has further strengthened its market status with strong financial and operating performance. Mobility, broadband, enterprise connectivity, cloud and smart homes have been established by various offers of Jio in the form of a reliable Indian technology consumer.”

According to the quarterly results, more than 49 crore 81 lakh customers were connected to the Jio Network by 30 June 2025, with 99 lakh new customers on a net basis in this quarter. Jio customers once again used the most data in the industry, with 37 GB of monthly data per customer. The total data traffic of Jio has also increased by 24% to 54.7 billion GB, which shows the company’s growing grip and popularity among customers.
