Bhilwara. To meet the target of TB -free India by 2025, the Government of India, “TB Open Gram Panchayat Abhiyan” is being run in the state by 24 March 2025. As part of this campaign, awareness rallies were organized in rural areas at block level on Wednesday and informed about TB prevention, rescue and free treatment.
Chief Medical and Health Officer C.P. Goswami said that Asha, ANM and school students participated enthusiastically in the rallies and the villagers are being made aware of TB symptoms, testing, treatment and facilities provided by the government, as well as TB patients are being made aware of the nutritional materials given through Mutr Mitra under the Favor Nutrition Scheme.
He informed that through this campaign, the goal of the Health Department is to ensure the identification of TB patients and to ensure treatment in medical institutions on time through this campaign. During the campaign, efforts are being made to realize the dream by working with 100 percent participation of medical service officers and personnel by 2025.
