Beauty influencer and dermatologist Roma Abdesselam posted a video on her Instagram story that mistakenly referred to Lebanese cuisine as ‘lesbian food’. After that she got trolled. Going by the username the Stay at Home Daughter or @therealsahd, the TikTok star shared a video of her enjoying hummus dip and tagged a local Lebanese restaurant asking them to sponsor it.
She says in the video, I told you about eating hummus in a Lebanese restaurant. Hummus is very good. I’ve never been more fond of food than I am for this hummus. It’s great. However, in his caption, he wrote, “Lesbian food is great. Please note that the word ‘Lesbian’ was used by mistake instead of ‘Lebanese’.
Followers of the Australian Influencer Watchdog immediately trolled Roma, including the country’s first pansexual baelurette Brooke Blarton, who wrote ‘dead’ in a comment with an emoji. Another celeb mocked the video and said, “Stop this shocking. That’s totally right too. Plus, only lesbians talk about hummus like that.”
In 2020, Roma started a video series about her life as a ‘stay-at-home daughter’ which went viral. In those videos, the dermatologist was seen bragging about not having a job and still living a fancy life with financial help from her parents. She said in an interview last year, a stay-at-home daughter is every girl who doesn’t have a job, doesn’t go to school, and takes financial help from her parents. Roma has 620 thousand Tiktok followers and 72.8 thousand Instagram followers.
