The first American Pope Leo of the Catholic Church has criticized the policies and statements of 14th US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on social media.
This was the first time in the history of two thousand years of the Catholic Church when the Pope was elected from America.
On the election of Pope Leo, US President Donald Trump greeted him and described it as proud for the country.
However, these wishes came at a time when Trump posted a picture made from one of his artificial intelligence (AI) during the official mourning after the death of Pope Francis in which he was seen in the Pope’s dress.
This act of Trump created a stir in the Vatican and former Italian Prime Minister Romano Product described it as unfair political intervention in matters of faith.
Last month, the ‘US Conference of Catholic Bishops’ ended the 50 -year partnership with the US government to serve refugees and migrant children. The decision was taken by the Trump administration after a sudden financial assistance.
Most of the social media posts of Pope Leo are related to the Catholic Church and its aspects. He rarely gives his personal opinion, but has several times criticized the policies that limit the entry of migrants and refugees into the US.
Recently Pope Leo criticized US Vice President JD Vance.
In February, Pope Leo shared a Catholic article, titled “JD Vance is wrong: Jesus does not teach that we should share our love for others in order.”
Prior to this article by Pop Leo, Vance mentioned a Christian principle on criticizing the immigration policies of Donald Trump administration in an interview with ‘Fox News’ that “First you love your family and then love your neighbor, then love your community and then love your co -citizens, then prefer the rest of the world”.
