US President Donald Trump on Monday criticized Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonski. Actually, Jailonsky recently said that the end of the war between Ukraine and Russia is still “far away”. Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, “This is Jailonsky’s worst statement so far and America will not tolerate it further.”

What was the statement of Jailonsky?

On Sunday night, Jailonsky said in a statement that he feels the Ukraine-Russia war would last for some time. He also tried to have positive opinion about the US-Ukraine relations after a controversial meeting with Republican President Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Jailonsky had said, “I think (with America) will continue our relationship, as it is more than a rare relationship.”

Ban on military aid

At the same time, the US has now banned military aid to Ukraine. According to the AP report, US President Donald Trump had directed Ukraine to stop US assistance after a stressful meeting at the Oval Office with a view to pressurizing Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelanski to attend peace talks with Russia. A White House official on Monday informed that President Donald is focusing on the peace agreement to end the war between Russia and Ukraine for more than three years. Trump wants Ukrainian President Volodimir Gelnsky to be committed to that target.
