Pakistan has claimed that its economic affairs division account on the social media platform X has been hacked and the post has been called “fake” in which it appealed more loans to the international community due to the deficit after India’s Operation Sindoor.
Explain that, due to India’s operation vermilion, the terrorist structure and its assistant structure in Pakistan and Pakistan are being damaged, in such a situation, the Pakistan government had appealed to international partners to provide more loans. Also, he has also appealed to international partners to help reduce stress due to decline in stock.
Now in a post on X, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry fact checker shared a picture of the post and mentioned that it is “fake”. It also claimed, “The account was hacked.”
Earlier, the Government of Pakistan made this request on the social media platform X through a verified account allegedly related to the Government of Economic Affairs of the Government of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s economy is in recession. IMF’s outstanding debt on Pakistan is around US $ 8.8 billion. Pakistan is the fourth largest debtor of IMF. Weak perception is also visible in the stock market indices. Since April 23, Pakistan’s benchmark KSE-100 index has fallen by more than 7,500 points or 6%. On Monday, Moody’s warned that continuous increase in tension with India could damage Pakistan’s growth, its fiscal consolidation and comprehensive economic stability.
On Thursday, the Indian armed forces successfully threw the efforts of the Pakistani army of drone and missile attacks at several Indian military establishments in northern and western India on the night of 7-8 May and also neutralized an air defense system in Lahore.
Addressing the press conference of the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday, Colonel Sophia Qureshi said that India’s integrated counter-UAS grid and air defense systems successfully neutralized the dangers. He further stated that in response to Pakistan’s attempt to attack, the Indian armed forces targeted several air defense radars and systems in Pakistan this morning.
He said, “This morning the Indian armed forces targeted air defense radars and systems at many places in Pakistan. India’s reaction has also been in the same area like Pakistan. It has been reliably revealed that an air defense system in Lahore has been neutralized.”
Colonel Qureshi said, “On the night of 07-08 May 2025, Pakistan used drones and missiles using Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Faludi, Northi and Bhuj to attack many military rights in northern and western India including Bhuj. The UAS grids and air defense systems have been neutralized. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from many places which prove Pakistani attacks. “
Meanwhile, the Indian Army said during the midnight of 8 and 9 May, the Indian Army successfully drove several drone attacks and ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Western Border and Jammu and Kashmir and gave a decisive reply.
The army said, “Pakistan Armed Forces carried out several attacks using drones and other weapons on the entire western border on midnight of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pak soldiers also violated the ceasefire several times.”
Drone attacks on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir were effectively thwarted and CFV was given a befitting reply. The Indian Army is committed to protecting the sovereignty and regional integrity of the nation. All nefarious intentions will be forcefully responded. “
Earlier on Thursday, the Indian Army killed more than 50 Pakistani drones during a large-scale drone operation on the Line of Control and International Border (IB).
