Indian Archery Players In Paris Olympics 2024: The great sports event Olympics will begin in the capital of France from July 26. An Indian team of 117 athletes has left to participate in it. This includes 6 archery players, who have shown excellent performance in the last few years. India has not been able to win a medal in any archery event in the Olympics so far, but this time everyone is expecting a medal. From India, 3 male and 3 female players have gone to Paris Olympics for the archery event.
Archery players prepared in Pune
This time the Indian Archery team which has come to participate in the Olympic Games has been sent with full preparation in which they were given a training environment for 10 days in Pune like the one they will get during the Paris Olympics where they can concentrate and aim correctly even amidst the noise of the spectators. India participated for the first time in the Olympics in the year 1988 in the event of Archery but till now it has not been able to win a medal in it even once.
Highest expectations from Deepika and Tarundeep
Deepika Kumari and Tarundeep are the most expected to win medals in the archery event at the Paris Olympics. Deepika was the only Indian female player who participated in the archery event at the Tokyo Olympics and she was able to reach the quarter-finals. She also reached the quarter-finals in the mixed event. Deepika is going to participate in the Olympic Games for the fourth time, so she will try her best to win the medal. Apart from Deepika Kumari and Tarundeep Rai, the names of Dheeraj Bommdevara, Praveen Jadhav, Bhajan Kaur and Ankita Bhakat are also included in the archery event at the Paris Olympics from India.
