India has made a great start by winning its first medal in Paris Olympics 2024. This mega sports tournament started on 26 July with the inauguration of India’s pavilion. It has been named ‘India House’, which has been presented by Reliance Foundation and both Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani were present at its inauguration ceremony. Nita Ambani, who is also a sports administrator and IOC member, spoke to PTI on the sidelines of the inauguration of India House at La Villette and assured that India is going to do very well. “Forty-seven per cent of our athletes are girls. All this can be a lesson in women’s power and for our young boys and girls that no one is less than anyone else, one just needs to believe in oneself,” Mrs Ambani said.
