Rain alert in Delhi
Heavy rains are falling in most parts of the country. Due to rain in the mountains, incidents of landslides have increased. Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Kerala’s hilly district Wayanad. Due to rain, many landslide incidents have been reported in the district. More than 300 people have died due to this. The national capital Delhi also received heavy rains two days ago i.e. on Wednesday. Two people died and two were injured due to heavy rains in Delhi.
Rain alert in Delhi for next four days
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert for many states including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Bihar. Rain has been predicted in Delhi for the next four days. The IMD said that there is a possibility of rain in Delhi from Saturday to Monday. The Meteorological Department has also predicted light rain in Delhi on August 6 i.e. Tuesday.
There will be heavy rain in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal as well
The Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 34-35 degrees Celsius in the next few days. The minimum temperature is likely to be around 26-27 degrees Celsius. Along with Delhi, rain is expected in many districts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.
Rain alert in Uttarakhand for next 2 days
Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, 12 people died and about 6 people were injured on Wednesday. The local meteorological department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the state for the next two days. The administration has been kept alert amid the heavy rain alert. Incidents like landslides can occur in high altitude areas.
Heavy rain alert in these districts of Bihar
Heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts of Bihar. Along with rain, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in rural areas. The local administration has advised people to be cautious. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert in Aurangabad, Banka, Gaya, Jamui, Nawada for the next two days.
