Let us tell you that the effect of 370 was that unlike other states, the Parliament had the right to make laws for Jammu and Kashmir on the subjects of defence, foreign affairs and communication, but to implement laws related to any other subject, the Centre needed the approval of the state government. On the other hand, Article 356 of the Constitution does not apply here. Due to this, the President had no authority over this state. Article 360 of the Constitution, which provides for imposing financial emergency in the country, was also not applicable to Jammu and Kashmir.
After the abolition of Article 370, it is now being claimed that Kashmir has changed a lot. There is peace in Kashmir now, the incident of stone pelting on the army has been buried in the pages of history. After the abolition of Article 370, it has become easier for outsiders to buy land in Jammu and Kashmir. Before 5 August 2019, people from other states could not buy land there. Only the people of the state could buy land and immovable property there. Apart from this, after the abolition of Article 370, tourism and investment have increased in Jammu and Kashmir. If we talk about investment in Jammu and Kashmir, then the investment here has increased tenfold. The infrastructure has also improved.

After the decision to nullify Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir was divided into two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
