Cyber thugs are sending fake income tax refund messages on the mobile phones of taxpayers.
In these messages, users are being asked to click on a link to release the income tax refund amount. As soon as taxpayers click on this fake link, money is being withdrawn from their bank accounts. The Income Tax Department has warned crores of taxpayers about this fraud by cyber thugs.

The Income Tax Department has advised not to click on any link in the name of income tax refund, and has also asked not to share OTP, PAN card and other important information received on mobile under any circumstances.
At the same time, the cyber cell has also warned people about such messages coming in the name of ITR. Cyber Crime Police said that such messages are new tricks of bank fraud, so you should be careful and alert your acquaintances as well.
