With the help of this portal, the police will easily find your stolen and lost mobile phone and give it to you. The cyber branch of Rajasthan Police has launched a special campaign for this. Instructions have been given to take immediate action and find the mobile in the complaints registered on the CEIR portal. After that, the police is now returning happiness to the people by finding lost and stolen mobiles.
With the help of CEIR Portal launched by the Central Government, you will be able to find your stolen or lost mobile phone. You can also easily block the stolen mobile phone so that no one else can misuse it. Through CEIR Portal, any person can register a complaint of mobile theft and loss online. For this, the person will have to keep the IMEI number of the stolen mobile with him. This app can also be downloaded in the mobile phone.
In this way you can file an online report on the CEIR portal
According to Jaipur Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) Kailash Chandra Bishnoi, if the mobile phone is lost or stolen, immediately visit the website www.ceir.gov.in. After downloading the app on the mobile phone, you will find the option of Block Stolen/Lost Mobile on the left side of the CEIR portal. You will have to enter the information of your mobile handset in it. In this, you will have to upload the mobile phone number, IMEI number, handset company and model information.

After this, you will have to give information about the mobile phone that where and when your phone was lost. In this, you will have to select the location, district and police station and give information. After this you will have to enter the police complaint number. The victim will also have to upload his information. He will have to enter his name, address, identity card and email ID. At the end, after submitting the captcha, as soon as you tick the declaration, your form will be submitted on the portal. This entire process can also be done through the Know Your Mobile (KYM) app or by calling 14422.
No need to go to the police station
If the mobile phone is lost or stolen, the person will not need to go to the police station to register a report. The person can file a report online or by going to any e-Mitra booth by giving the IMEI and other details of the mobile through SSO ID. As soon as this complaint is registered, the process of finding the mobile phone will start immediately. According to Additional Police Commissioner Kailash Chandra Bishnoi, as soon as the complaint is registered online from home on the CEIR portal, it is transferred to the concerned district and police station.
You can also block and unblock a lost mobile phone
You can block your mobile phone by sending an online SMS on the portal itself. If you find your phone again, you can unblock it again through the same CEIR web portal. Not only this, if you want to buy an old second-hand phone, then complete information related to that phone including its IMEI number can be found through this portal.
Status report can also be tracked on the portal
If you request to block or unblock your mobile on CEIR Portal, then you can also track its status report on this portal. You can also check whether the IMEI number of the mobile phone handset you have is correct or wrong through CEIR Portal.
