1- NEET PG Exam Centre: 2.28 lakh students, 500 exam centres
Dr. Abhijat Seth, President of the National Board of Examination (Medical Sciences), told the media that 500 exam centers have been set up for the NEET PG exam this year. While selecting the NEET PG exam centers, care has been taken to ensure that the candidates do not face any problems. Last year, 1200 centers were set up for NEET PG but this time many private vendors have not been selected. About 2.28 lakh students will appear for the NEET PG exam at 500 centers.

2- NEET PG Exam Timings: The exam will be held in two shifts
NEET PG exam was always conducted in just one shift. But this year it will be conducted in two shifts. NEET PG candidates are protesting against the exam being conducted in two shifts on social media. They say that this will cause more trouble to them. Let us tell you that out of 2.28 lakh candidates, half the students will give the exam in the first shift and the remaining half in the second shift. Students will get the details of the shift in the information recorded on the NEET PG admit card.

3- NEET PG Question Paper: When will the NEET PG question paper be made?
The NEET PG exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 23 June 2024. But it was decided to cancel it amid the hearing of the NEET UG paper leak case. The news of NEET PG paper leak had also spread in many places. The NEET PG question paper is generated digitally. The National Examination Board is very strict about its security. That is why this time the NEET PG paper will be generated on the morning of the exam day. This will eliminate any possibility of it being leaked.

4- NEET PG Normalization Process: What is the normalization process in NEET PG?
Due to the NEET PG exam being held in 2 shifts, this time the normalization process will be adopted. Through ‘normalization’, it is estimated how easy or difficult the paper is in which shift in the exam held in 2 shifts. Marks are decided accordingly. If the average score of students in 1 shift is 95 out of 100 and in the second shift it is 85, and it is found that the paper of the second shift was a bit difficult, then the score of both shifts is decided under the normalization score formula. This increases the average score of the students of the second shift and their gap in average score with the students of the first shift is reduced.
