Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Om Prakash Bhardwaj says that Kakoda is a vegetable similar to bitter gourd. It contains iron and protein in abundance. For vegetarians, this vegetable works exactly like the benefits of meat. This is the only vegetable which is more powerful than meat.
He told that eating Kakora provides relief in diseases like piles and jaundice. It also protects from skin diseases during rains and keeps blood sugar under control. Many vitamins and proteins are present in abundance in Kakora. Its consumption removes internal weakness of the body.
