A major plane accident occurred in Brazil on Friday. It was a regional turboprop plane that crashed near Sao Paulo in Brazil. All 61 people on board the plane died. The plane goes round and falls down
In the viral video, the plane is seen flying at a high altitude, then suddenly it starts falling straight down. The pilot completely loses control of the plane. Instead of moving forward, the plane comes down and spins around and falls in a residential area. There were 61 people on board the turboprop plane before it crashed. All the passengers died after the accident.
The flight took off at 1:30 p.m.
Regarding this incident, regional officials said that the plane bound for Sao Paulo’s international airport took off from Cascavel in the state of Parana at around 1:30 pm. The plane crashed in the city of Vinhedo, about 80 km (50 miles) northwest of Sao Paulo.
A cloud of smoke rose as soon as the plane fell
In the video that went viral on social media, it is seen that the ATR-72 plane went out of control and fell behind a group of trees near houses. As soon as the plane fell down, a cloud of smoke rose and it caught fire.
Locals heard the loud sound of the plane crash
Daniel De Lima, a resident of the area where the accident occurred, said he heard a loud noise before looking out the window. The video shows the plane spinning in circles but not moving. Soon after, the plane fell out of the sky and exploded.
