This is the reason why not only are snakes appearing in this city, but more than two dozen cases of snake bites have also been reported here in the last two months.
The special thing is that the snake that is biting people here is not a normal snake but a cobra snake. In most of the snake bite incidents reported in this area, the snake has bitten by a cobra or its babies. Let us tell you that such cases of snake bite have been reported in Noida-Greater Noida of Delhi-NCR in the last two months.

Noida’s Deputy CMO Dr. Tikam Singh said that till two months ago, only a few cases of snake bites were being reported, but before the onset of rains and after the monsoon, the incidents of snake or cobra bites increased rapidly in many areas of Noida and Greater Noida.

Dr. Singh said that the maximum number of snake bite cases have been seen in Dankaur area of Greater Noida. It is located near the expressway. However, the good thing is that 70-75 percent of snake bites here are from non-poisonous snakes. They do not spread poison and neither does the bitten victim have any problem.
Cobra snake is dominant
Noida District Public Health Expert Dr. Amit Kumar said that the snake bites that have happened in Noida and Greater Noida areas are cobra bites. Cobra snakes are coming out here. However, most of the snakes are not poisonous. On the other hand, those who have been bitten by poisonous snakes were given anti-snake venom on time, so no one has died due to snake bite.
Now the campaign is going to start in the district
Dr. Tikam Singh said that after so many cases of snake bites, a campaign to create awareness about snakes is going to start soon in the entire district. Apart from providing information about snakes at about a dozen places, information will be given about the symptoms of snake bite, management of snake bites, first aid and vaccine related information to the people.
