Last Saturday, Shahrukh Khan was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. The actor was honoured with this award in front of 8,000 people at Piazza Grande in Locarno, Switzerland.
After winning this award, Shahrukh Khan looked very emotional. He lifted the trophy in his hand and said that it was very heavy. He further said, ‘I want to thank all of you for welcoming me with such open arms in this very beautiful, very cultural and very hot city of Locarno, which I show on screen. Thank you for welcoming me with a much more open heart than that.’
