A Test match will be played here between New Zealand and Afghanistan from 9 to 13 September. Preparations for this are in the final stage.

Board members of both countries will come this month

Members of the New Zealand and Afghanistan Cricket Boards will visit Greater Noida’s Shaheed Vijay Singh Sports Complex between 18 and 20 August. This will be the first time that New Zealand cricketers will visit Greater Noida. The Kiwi team will arrive here on September 5. They will inspect the preparations at the stadium and also give guidelines to remove the shortcomings. If sources are to be believed, the board members can also hold a meeting with Greater Noida Authority and administration officials regarding security arrangements and other facilities. It has not been decided yet which hotel the members of both the teams will stay in. Board members will also go to inspect it. A team of about 10 members of both the boards is jointly reaching Greater Noida to finalize the preparations.

This team will reach three days before the match

The New Zealand team will reach Greater Noida on September 5 for a three-day conditioning camp before the Test match and the Afghanistan team may come to Greater Noida on August 28 for a week-long training and preparation camp. Preparations have also been intensified for this. Let us tell you that this will be Afghanistan’s tenth Test match. Afghanistan has previously won three Test matches against Ireland, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Greater Noida will also be the home ground of the Afghan cricket team. Tight security arrangements are being made by the administration for the cricket match. Not only this, preparations are being made by the authority to make the program a success in every way.
