Papaya Barfi
We all know how beneficial papaya is for our health. In Ayurveda too, papaya is said to be a storehouse of qualities. Not only ripe but raw papaya also gives many health benefits. If you like to eat sweets or you have a lot of craving for sweets, then you can make a tasty barfi of raw papaya. So, let’s know how to make raw papaya barfi?
Ingredients for making Raw Papaya Barfi:
Raw papaya, sugar – 2 cups, desi ghee – 2 teaspoons, mawa – 1 cup, chopped dry fruits, food color – a pinch
Method to make Raw Papaya Barfi:

Step 1: To make raw papaya barfi, first wash the papaya with water. Wipe it and cut it into two parts and remove the seeds thoroughly. After that peel the papaya and remove its peel. Now grate the papaya.

second step: Turn on the gas and place a pan on it. When the pan is hot, add 2 teaspoons of ghee. Now, add grated papaya and cover it. Stir well after some time.

Step 3: After the papaya becomes soft, add 2 cups of sugar to it. Slowly the sugar will melt in it and the color of the papaya will start becoming light brown. Then add a pinch of food color to it and mix it well.

Step 4: In the next step add mawa and mix well. After some time add cardamom powder to this mixture. Keep it covered on low flame for 10 minutes. Now turn off the gas.

Fifth step: Now in the last step, take a container and grease it with ghee. Now pour the papaya mixture in it and spread it evenly. Add dry fruit crumbs on top. Keep it aside for 3 to 4 hours to freeze. After the stipulated time, take it out of the container and cut it into the shape of barfi.
