BCCI made a big change in Team India's schedule, venues changed against Bangladesh and England - India TV Hindi

Team India revised schedule for Home Season 2024-25: BCCI has announced the updated schedule for Team India’s upcoming domestic season 2024-25. The T20I series between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to start from October 6, with a major change in the venue. The first T20I match between India and Bangladesh, which was initially scheduled to be held in Dharamsala on October 6, 2024, will now be played in Gwalior. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association is upgrading the dressing room of the Dharamsala Stadium due to which this big decision has been taken.

The BCCI also announced the swapping of venues for the first and second T20I matches against England. Chennai, where the first T20 match was scheduled to be held, will now host the second match while Kolkata will host the first T20 match. The dates of the first T20 match (January 22, 2025) and the second T20 match (January 25, 2025) will remain the same. The change in venue has been made after the Kolkata Police requested the Cricket Association of Bengal regarding their prior Republic Day commitments and obligations.


India vs Bangladesh Test Series Schedule

  • 1st Test: September 19 to September 23, 9.30 AM, Chennai
  • 2nd Test: September 27 to October 1, 9.30 AM, Kanpur

India vs Bangladesh T20 series schedule

  • 1st T20 match – 6 October, 7.00 PM, Gwalior
  • 2nd T20 match – October 9, 7.00 PM, Delhi
  • 3rd T20 match – October 12, 7.00 PM, Hyderabad

The England team will tour India on the New Year, which will start from January 22. 5 T20I matches and a 3-match ODI series will be played on this tour. This tour will end on February 12. The Indian team is currently on a long break. Team India does not have any international matches before September 19. India will return to the field with a 2-match Test series against visiting Bangladesh.

IND vs ENG T20I series schedule

  • 1st T20 – Kolkata (January 22, 7:00 PM)
  • 2nd T20- Chennai (January 25, 7:00 PM)
  • 3rd T20- Rajkot (January 28, 7:00 PM)
  • 4th T20 – Pune (January 31, 7:00 PM)
  • 5th T20 – Mumbai (2 February, 7:00 PM)

IND vs ENG ODI series schedule

  • 1st ODI – Nagpur (6 February, 1:30 PM)
  • 2nd ODI – Cuttack (9 February, 1:30 PM)
  • 3rd ODI – Ahmedabad (February 12, 1:30 PM)
