Twinkle Khanna herself is the mother of a daughter Nitara. In such a situation, she has expressed her anger over the Kolkata incident. The actress said in her post that even today she is teaching her daughter the same things that she was taught 50 years ago, when she was a child.

In this post, Twinkle Khanna wrote – ‘It has been 50 years on this planet and in this country, but even today I am teaching my daughter the same things that I was taught in childhood. Do not go alone to the park, school or beach. Do not go alone with any man, even if he is your uncle, cousin or friend. Do not go alone in the morning, evening and especially at night. Do not go alone because it is not a question of ifs and buts, do not go alone because it is possible that you may not be able to come back’.

Ever since the case of a female trainee doctor being raped and then brutally murdered at Kolkata’s RG Medical College came to light, there has been a stir in the entire country. This incident happened on 9th August.
