Neeraj, who had stated after winning the silver medal at the Paris Olympics that he was not in his full form due to injury, will now participate in the Lausanne Diamond League on August 22.
Neeraj had already made it clear that he wanted to play the Diamond League final
Neeraj Chopra had said in his statement during the Paris Olympics that he wants to play in the Diamond League finals to be held in Brussels, Belgium. Neeraj, who is currently in Switzerland, said in his statement to ANI that he will participate in the Diamond League finals to be held in Lausanne on August 22. To play the final match, Neeraj needs to participate in the Diamond League leg to be held in Lausanne or Zurich on September 5. In such a situation, Neeraj has now decided to participate in Lausanne.
After Paris, my injury is better than before
Neeraj Chopra had given a statement about his injury in the Paris Olympics. At the same time, he has now told that the good thing after Paris was that my injury did not become more serious. My physio had treated this injury during the Paris Olympics, due to which the condition is better now than before. Earlier I thought that I would participate in the Zurich Diamond League, but now that the injury is better, I have decided to participate in Lausanne. Neeraj Chopra won the Diamond League final in the year 2022. This time the final will be held on 13 and 14 September.
