siddaramaiah
Bengaluru: The Karnataka cabinet has decided to support CM Siddaramaiah to fight the legal battle calling the Governor’s decision unconstitutional. Apart from this, CM Siddaramaiah’s statement also came out. He said that why should I resign? According to me, the Governor should resign.
What else did Siddaramaiah say?
Siddaramaiah said, tell me why should I resign? According to me, the Governor has to resign because he has acted as a puppet in the hands of the Government of India. Siddaramaiah said, tell me what crime have I committed. See, he (the Governor) is dancing to the tunes of BJP and JDS politics. They are targeting me and the Congress party only because we are supporters of the poor. They have fear of Siddaramaiah.
Siddaramaiah said that we are going to challenge the approval given by the Governor. The approval itself is illegal and unconstitutional. We knew beforehand that the Governor would act this way because this is a big conspiracy. We will fight this on the streets. My party president will speak about it. This is not a setback, we are getting stronger, BJP and JDS have been exposed.
People are seeing everything they are lying about, they are getting exposed politically, there is no issue against us so they are making non-issues into issues. They will get exposed, BJP and JD(S) will get exposed, it is not a setback for us, it is a setback for them, Siddaramaiah said.
He said that you must have seen that both the parties came together in Mysore but there were not even 30 thousand people there but when we organized a program, more than one and a half lakh people attended it, this shows that we still have the affection of the people and we are enjoying it. People are no longer in support of BJP and JDS.
