New Delhi. BJP has made a special plan for the Kashmir assembly elections. BJP has decided that the main agenda of the party’s election campaign in Kashmir will be national integration. In the upcoming assembly elections, BJP and its supported candidates will take this agenda of national unity to the public in all 47 assembly seats of Kashmir. Apart from this, after the removal of Article 370, the development in the valley and preventing the youth from going on the path of terrorism will also be told to the public by party workers in every assembly of Kashmir.
BJP has decided that young and new faces will be given preference in ticket distribution. Also, what changes have taken place in Kashmir after the removal of Article 370? This will be put before the people of Kashmir during the assembly election campaign. According to sources, apart from this, during the election campaign in Kashmir region, the party will target two political families active in Kashmir – Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti. The corruption that took place during their tenure will be told to the public.
BJP will support independent candidates
The party will also support independent candidates on one-fourth of the seats in Kashmir region, who are supporters of PM Narendra Modi’s Kashmir agenda. Like Jammu, all senior party leaders including PM Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold meetings in Kashmir region as well. This time there will be a special focus on holding meetings in border areas. According to sources, BJP is excited by the high voter turnout in the Lok Sabha elections in Kashmir region. The party wants to convert this enthusiasm of voters into assembly victory.

Congress also welcomed the elections
However, the opposition Congress has also welcomed the announcement of holding assembly elections in Kashmir. Congress leader Alka Lamba called the announcement of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir a victory of democracy and started the party’s campaign for the elections. All India Mahila Congress chief Lamba said that ‘This is the victory of democracy. This is the victory of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. After a long wait of ten years, democracy is being restored here.’ She said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will get a chance to elect their representatives to form the government and expressed hope that her party will get a majority.
