Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar arrived as the chief guest to participate in the two-day credit national convention organized by Sahakar Bharti. Where he appealed to all the representatives gathered and said that the cooperative sector should give its full contribution to make India developed. Encouraging Sahakar Bharti, Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that a representative organization is very important for development in any field and I can say with confidence that Sahakar Bharti is an organization that is capable and strong representative of the representatives working in the field of cooperatives.
Loans now available at cheaper interest rates
He said, “The contribution of the cooperative sector is and will be important in providing everything to the people associated with agriculture easily and honestly and in reducing their problems.” Not only this, he praised the government and said that today the PACS are being computerized in the country, their capacity is being increased. The world’s largest food storage scheme is being started by providing loans at cheap interest. Work is also being done to make PACS run PDS shops, petrol pumps, medicine shops and gas agencies. This will not only strengthen the PACS, but will also benefit the consumers. Societies are also being formed to promote organic farming. In other words, the government is constantly trying to make every person join the cooperative movement.
Appreciation of the work of Prime Minister Modi
While praising the work of Prime Minister Modi, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does what he says and it is his endeavour to make India a developed nation in the next 25 years in which every section of the society is supported. Motivating the people, he said that our country has a population of 140 crores. If we take even one step together, then the country moves 140 crore steps ahead and also appealed to join the resolution of making India developed by 2047.
