Coronavirus cases in Rajasthan update
Jaipur. 38 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Rajasthan on Friday and with this the total number of coronavirus infected people in the state has risen to 1169. Officials said that by 9 am on Friday, 5 new cases were reported in Jaipur. Apart from this, 18 new cases have been reported in Jodhpur and 4 new cases in Kota. In the total cases of coronavirus infection in Rajasthan, apart from two Italian citizens, 54 people are also included who were brought from Iran and lodged in Army health centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.
Curfew has been imposed in at least 40 police station areas across the state. Till 9 am on Friday, 1 new corona infected case has been reported in Jhunjhunu, 2 in Nagaur, 1 in Ajmer, 6 in Tonk and 1 in Jhalawar. On Friday, one more death has occurred due to corona virus infection in Rajasthan. The patient was also suffering from heart disease.
Curfew was imposed in an area of Mansarovar in Jaipur on Thursday after a case of coronavirus was reported. Police officials said curfew has been imposed in the area from Mansarovar Plaza to Sharda Medical Store on Madhya Marg in Shiprapath area of Police Station and from Tilak Marg Cut to ASI Gali via Patel Marg Chauraha.
