Bhajan Lal cabinet has given relief to the employees in Rajasthan. Before the assembly by-elections, major decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting of Bhajan Lal government. The government has increased the death gratuity of employees from 20 lakhs to 25 lakhs. While employees having more than two children have been given relief in promotion. Talking to the media after the cabinet, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa said that 3 important decisions have been taken regarding employee welfare, in which the amount of RGS of pensioner employees has been increased from 20 to 30 thousand. Along with this, the gratuity of the employees has been increased from 20 to 25 lakhs. The family members of the employees will get 10 years increased pension on the lines of the Center in Rajasthan. Deprived District Court employees will be able to get promotion and other benefits even if they have more than 2 children.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that some decisions were taken in the cabinet to expand the railway network, in which the railway connecting Shrinath Mewar will be expedited. The area near Nathdwara was deprived of railways. In such a situation, it has been approved to give land to the railways for gauge conversion. In his cabinet meeting on Wednesday, many important decisions were taken for the employees. Along with this, solar energy and expanding the railway network were also discussed. Important decisions like increasing the amount of RGHS of pensioner employees, increasing the gratuity of deceased employees, removing the compulsion of two children for judicial employees were taken in the meeting.
In the meeting, informal discussions were also held on the old pension scheme of employees and the UPS scheme of the Central Government. Along with this, the presentation of the transfer policy draft of two departments was also made in this meeting, on the basis of which in future the government will transfer government employees by adjusting the transfer policy of other departments.
Jogaram Patel said that Bhajanlal government is continuously working towards ensuring transparency in transfers. In this direction, a presentation of the transfer policy prepared by the medical and education department was made in the cabinet meeting today. After this, whatever suggestions will come in it, they will be modified and the policy will be finalized. Apart from this, the policies of other departments will also be incorporated and transfers of government employees will be done on that basis.
The government is committed to ensure that there are no irregularities in transfers and is continuously working on the transfer policy. Regarding the Old Pension Scheme and the UPS Scheme of the Central Government, Patel said that there was no official discussion on this in the cabinet meeting, but different suggestions are being given continuously regarding this. The government will soon take an appropriate decision on this.
