Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday announced that all the industrial parks approved by the Central Government will be completed in the next three years. The construction of these parks will play an important role in the economic development of the country and will prove to be a milestone.
Features of the parks and government’s approach
Environmental clearance: All the parks have already received environmental clearance, so there will be no hindrance in their construction. National Industrial Corridor Development Program: Under this, 20 industrial parks i.e. Smart City Industrial Townships are being prepared in the country. These parks are being developed with the cooperation of state governments. Special request: The UP government had made a special request to build a park on 352 acres in Prayagraj, due to which it has been approved.

West Bengal withdraws proposal
Piyush Goyal also informed that West Bengal had earlier sent a proposal for an industrial park, but later withdrew it.
