Sharad Pawar: After the assessment of the central investigation agencies, Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was being given Z Plus security of the VIP security branch of the Central Reserve Police Force, but he refused to accept it. The Home Ministry had decided to give him Z Plus security a few days ago, in which 58 CRPF commandos were to be deployed for his security. He refused to accept some measures suggested by the security agencies. Sharad Pawar also said that he does not know why his security is being increased.

He has raised doubts about the decision to give him Z+ security. Taking a jibe at this security, he called it a means of spying. Pawar said that the Z-plus security given to him could be a way to get authentic information about him, as the Maharashtra assembly elections are near. He said in a statement a few days ago that the Z-plus security given to him could be an attempt to extract information about him. What is Z+ security
Z+ security is given to those people whose life is in danger from external elements. If I talk about security categories in India, then there are four types of them. These include Z Plus (circle of 36 security personnel), Z (circle of 22 security personnel), Y (circle of 11 security personnel) and X (circle of 2 security personnel). There is talk of giving Z Plus security to Sharad Pawar, due to which he will be given a circle of 36 security personnel. Along with Sharad Pawar, there is talk of giving Z+ security to two more people, one of whom is Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and the other is Amit Shah.
