Moscow: A helicopter carrying 22 people has gone missing in Russia. Giving information about this on Saturday, the local media said that apart from 19 passengers, there were 3 crew members in the helicopter. It is being told that this helicopter disappeared from the radar soon after taking off. According to media reports, when the helicopter went missing, it was flying near the Vachkazats volcano in the Kamchatka region of the Far East. Giving information about the incident, Russia’s state news agency said that the Mi-8T helicopter operated by Vityaz-Aero airline lost contact after taking off at 7.15 am. According to emergency services, the Mi-8T helicopter disappeared from radars shortly after takeoff, although the crew did not report any problems before losing contact. The helicopter was carrying 19 passengers and three crew members. Media reports also suggest that low visibility was recorded by the Kamchatka Hydrometeorological Center in the area of Nikolaevka airport, where contact with the helicopter was lost.
An aircraft was dispatched to look for the helicopter
