Union Minister and Jharkhand state in-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan has called former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren the Tiger of Jharkhand. He said that Champai is a leader who emerged from the furnace of the movement and who founded the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and played a significant role in the formation of a separate Jharkhand. Minister Shivraj said this in a discussion with the media during his visit to Vidisha parliamentary constituency.
Mama said that Soren is truly the tiger of Jharkhand. He is a leader who emerged from the furnace of agitation and who established JMM and played a significant role in the formation of a separate Jharkhand. He is respected by the people. He has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party to save Jharkhand.
Foreign infiltration and mountains of notes
The Union Minister said that the way Jharkhand is being destroyed and ruined due to foreign infiltration, land is being bought in the name of daughters after marrying them, is a matter of concern. Shivraj Singh said that the way mountains of notes are being recovered and the way he was humiliated is also a matter of concern. Despite being the Chief Minister, he was not allowed to distribute appointment letters. He was not allowed to hold programs.
JMM was described as a husband-wife party
Explaining the reasons behind all this, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said that JMM has now become a ‘husband-wife’ party. That is why he has joined hands with BJP to save Jharkhand. The coalition government is now sure to go and now BJP will form the government. Chauhan further said that he is a very big leader and his respect for Shri Soren has increased further. He has no conditions. Shri Soren has recently left Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and joined BJP.
Leaving JMM before assembly elections
Champai Soren has left JMM and joined BJP due to various reasons like being removed from the post of Chief Minister and not being able to work properly while in office. Although he had given two more indications before joining BJP, but instead of choosing those paths, he chose to join BJP. This political upheaval is also important because assembly elections are to be held in the state this year.
