Bihar News Desk!!! Senior leader of Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal United (JDU), KC Tyagi has resigned from the post of national spokesperson. It is believed that KC Tyagi has had to pay a heavy price for sitting in Delhi and giving his opinion on every issue. His statements were somehow conveying the message that JDU’s opinion is different from NDA. Perhaps that is why the high command could not tolerate him. Why did KC Tyagi, considered one of the closest leaders of Nitish Kumar, have to resign from the post of spokesperson? After all, what other reasons could be behind this, let’s know.
Reason number 1- It was difficult to not have coordination with NDA
JDU is currently in the central government with NDA. According to sources, as JDU spokesperson, KC Tyagi made some statements which were completely different from the opinion of NDA. In such a situation, it is believed that not coordinating with NDA proved costly for KC Tyagi and he had to resign from his post of spokesperson.
Reason No. 2- Disagreement with the party line on many issues
Political experts say that KC Tyagi’s views were different from the party line on many issues. Especially while giving his opinion on lateral entry in UPSC, Supreme Court’s decision on SC-ST reservation and many other issues, he did not discuss anything with the party leaders. This affected the image of the party to some extent.
Reason No. 3 – Support of Indian leaders on Israel issue
Even in the matter of foreign policy, KC Tyagi was seen to be in tune with the opposition. The opposition opposed stopping the supply of ammunition to Israel, which Tyagi supported. Meaning, here too JDU’s vote was different from NDA.
Reason No. 4 – Viewed against lateral entry in UPSC
On the issue of lateral entry in UPSC, KC Tyagi also took the side of the opposition and expressed a different opinion. For this, he did not even consider it necessary to talk to the senior leaders of the party. Expressing a different opinion from the NDA on this issue, he said- People had to suffer the pain of backwardness by living in the society for several hundred years, then why are you looking for merit.
Reason number 5- Different opinions on Wakf Act and Uniform Civil Code
Apart from the amendment in the Wakf Board Act by the government, KC Tyagi’s opinion on the issue of Uniform Civil Code was completely different from the party line. Along with this, he also expressed his opinion on the Central Government’s Agniveer Yojana without talking to the party.
