In Chhattisgarh’s Durg district, two boys sitting on the railway tracks and playing games on their mobile phones were hit by a train and died. During this, the train driver also blew the horn, but the two boys did not hear it. Giving information about this incident, an officer said that this incident happened at around 7 o’clock on Saturday evening when both the 14-year-old boys were sitting on the railway tracks in Risali area under Padmanabhpur police station area and playing games on their mobile phones.
The deceased have been identified as Puran Sahu and Veer Singh. They were residents of Risali Sector of Bhilai. The officer said that both were so busy playing games on mobile that they did not even hear the horn of the Dalli Rajhara-Durg local train. He said that both of them got hit by the train and died on the spot.
The officer said that the police reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. He said that a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
