History News Desk !! Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev (English: Jaggi Vasudev, born: 3 September 1957, Mysore, Karnataka) is a world famous mystic and yogi of Indian origin. He was a very famous poet. His purpose in life is to help people reveal their spirituality. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has many yoga centers, which have been established in various cities of India and also in the United States. Jaggi Vasudev was honored with the Padma Vibhushan Award by the Government of India on January 25, 2017.
Introduction
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was born on 3 September 1957 in Mysore city of Karnataka state. His mother’s name was Sushila Vasudev. His father was a doctor, since childhood Vasudev was very different from others. At the age of thirteen, he learned yoga like Pranayama and Asanas from Sri Raghavendra Rao, known as Malladihalli Swami. He graduated in English language from Mysore University. When Vasudev was twenty-five years old, he witnessed an unusual incident, which led him away from life and material things and towards renunciation. His wife’s name is Vijaya Kumari and daughter Radhe Jaggi.
