BMW’s premium electric scooter CE 02 is going to be launched in September this month. Earlier in July, the company has also achieved great success by launching the BMW CE-04 electric scooter here. A teaser recently released by the company has revealed information related to the launch time of the upcoming scooter. This scooter will be manufactured at TVS Motor’s Hosur plant and will be exported worldwide from here. The BMW CE 02 electric scooter has been specially designed for running on the roads of urban areas.

Talking about the features included in the BMW CE 02 electric scooter, it has a floating-type rear fender with LED taillamp, 3.5-inch TFT instrument console and 14-inch alloy wheels for tremendous ground clearance. This electric scooter has been built with a special trendy design language to give it an attractive look. This is the reason why BMW CE 02 looks quite different from other electric scooters available in the market. It has the look of a bike along with a scooter. To make the look of the scooter trendy, special lighting elements are seen in it, which includes a square LED headlamp with daytime running lights (DRLs) as well as design language like single-piece seat and split-type pillar grab rail and slim side profile, high handlebars.
BMW CE 02 Battery Pack
For safety, features like disc brake, single-channel ABS, ESC and RSC have been added to BMW’s upcoming electric scooter, while this scooter has been equipped with a 2kWh battery pack. This battery pack will be able to give a range of 90 kilometers in a single charge. Its battery can be charged in 2 hours 40 minutes. With the help of a fast charger, it is charged in just 1 hour 40 minutes. The top speed of this scooter is 95 km per hour.
BMW CE 02 Price
The BMW CE 02 electric scooter is being manufactured in partnership with TVS-BMW. The price of this scooter being manufactured in India is expected to be less than the model available in other countries. In other countries, the price of this scooter is higher than BMW’s 310cc bikes. Its price can be around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). This cannot be called a cheap scooty.
