This incident is more or less similar to the Kanjhawala incident in Delhi. In the year 2023, on the intervening night of 31 December and 1 January, some youths in a car dragged a girl for 26 kilometers in the Kanjhawala area of Delhi. The whole country was shocked by this incident. It is said that the girl was stuck under the car for two hours. Due to this, the dead body of the girl was badly mutilated. Police investigation teams had examined the footage of about 200 CCTV cameras. The investigation team found that the car had passed through rough and pothole-filled roads.
