Kashi, September 6 (IANS). PM Modi and Kashi MP Narendra Modi are on a visit to Singapore. PM Modi appealed to Singapore’s business leaders to invest in India and his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.
During this, he said that whenever there is a talk of Paan in India, it remains incomplete without Banaras. I am an MP from Banaras, if you really want to enjoy eating Paan, then you should invest in Kashi.
After the discussion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s paan, the traders of Kashi are very happy. Yogesh Chaurasia, a paan seller, said that during the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath temple in 2022, PM Modi tasted the paan and tea of Kashi. He drank tea and ate paan here. He met people very comfortably. It did not feel like the Prime Minister of the country had come to my shop to eat paan like a common man and jokingly said that put a little less lime in the paan.
At the same time, Satish Singh, the owner of Pappu’s tea shop, said that in 2022, PM Modi tasted the tea at our place. The Prime Minister liked the tea at our place very much. It was very good and the Prime Minister tasted the tea three times while sitting in the shop. While leaving, Prime Minister Narendra Modi patted my back and blessed me and said stay happy. The work that the Prime Minister has done in his parliamentary constituency is being discussed in the country and abroad.
Shitala Prasad Upadhyay says that wherever PM Modi goes, he definitely talks about Kashi. Banaras has developed a lot. Along with cleanliness, roads have been built. Electricity is always available. The number of tourists in Kashi has increased. Development is happening at a fast pace here. Development is taking place in the village as well as in the city. Banaras is an ancient city. It has been famous since ancient times. The Prime Minister is thinking so much about Kashi, this is a matter of pride for us. This is the greatness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who thinks so much about Kashi.
Another person says that in Singapore, PM Modi is talking about Kashi, about the food here. This is a matter of pride for us. Apart from being the MP of Banaras, he is also the Prime Minister of our country. Wherever he goes, in the country and abroad, he definitely mentions the name of his parliamentary constituency (especially Kashi). He pays full attention to the people of Kashi from a small section to the upper class, as to how investments come here.
He further said that I believe that this is a matter of pride for Kashi and the whole of India. Because of PM Modi, India is being praised in the country and abroad and today Indians are looked upon with good eyes everywhere. Such things were not there earlier, this has been possible because of PM Modi. There has been a change everywhere in Kashi. Everyone is seeing what Kashi was before and what Kashi is today.
