Palwal, September 5 (IANS). BJP candidate from Haryana’s Palwal assembly seat Gaurav Gautam reached the historic ancient Panchvati temple of Palwal on Thursday. Here he offered prayers and took blessings from the Mahant of the temple. During this, he attacked the Congress and claimed that the BJP government will be formed in the state for the third time.
Gaurav Gautam said that the top leadership of the party has expressed trust in me from Palwal assembly and has fielded me as a candidate from here. I will work to live up to that trust and faith. I appeal to the voters to vote in favor of BJP to strengthen Sanatan, Palwal assembly and Haryana state.
He said that by giving him ticket from Palwal assembly, BJP has proved that BJP is a party that takes along 36 communities. Taking a dig at Congress party, he said that Congress only promotes nepotism. There was an atmosphere of fear and terror in Palwal during Congress government, whereas today under Bharatiya Janata Party government, work has been done to free Palwal from fear and terror.
He said that earlier people were made to fight among themselves, families were divided and an atmosphere of fear and terror was created. Therefore, to make Palwal free of fear and terror again, people will have to strengthen the BJP. I appeal to the people of Palwal with folded hands that they should not let Palwal go back to that era when people became victims of fear and terror and were implicated in false cases.
He said that in the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress was claiming to form the government at the Centre, but with the blessings of the people, the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed at the Centre for the third time and now the Bharatiya Janata Party government would be formed for the third time in Haryana too.
It is noteworthy that this time BJP has cut the ticket of Deepak Mangala from Palwal assembly seat and has fielded Gaurav Gautam. Gaurav Gautam belongs to Brahmin community and is currently the national secretary of BJP’s Yuva Morcha and in-charge of Maharashtra-Mumbai. He started his political journey from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Gaurav Gautam has a hold in other communities apart from Brahmin community and being young, he is getting the support of the youth.
