The Indian stock market opened with a decline today on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened with a slight decline at 82,171 today. In the initial business, it was seen trading at 82,036, down by 0.20 percent or 157 points. In the initial business, out of the 30 stocks of Sensex, 13 stocks were in the green zone and 17 were in the red zone. Whereas, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 25,106, down by 0.15 percent or 38 points in the initial business. In the initial business, out of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 19 were in the green zone and 31 were in the red zone.
These Nifty stocks rose
Among the Nifty pack stocks, the biggest gainers on Friday were LTI Mindtree (2.27%), Bajaj Finance (1.05%), Indusind Bank (0.70%), BPCL (0.65%) and Bajaj Finserv (0.56%). On the other hand, the biggest losers were SBI (1.68%), UltraTech Cement (0.62%), ICICI Bank (0.61%), NTPC (0.58%) and Titan (0.46%).
Status of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the highest gain was recorded in Nifty IT by 0.59 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare gained 0.35 percent, Nifty Realty by 0.54 percent, Nifty Metal by 0.18 percent, Nifty Media by 0.03 percent, Nifty FMCG by 0.02 percent and Nifty Auto by 0.09 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Bank declined by 0.35 percent, Nifty Financial Services by 0.18 percent, Nifty Pharma by 0.05 percent, Nifty PSU Bank by 0.80 percent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.20 percent, Nifty Healthcare by 0.10 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.10 percent and Nifty Oil & Gas by 0.18 percent.
