After the release of the first list of BJP for Haryana assembly elections, the internal conflict in Gurugram is not ending. Protests have started against giving tickets to Mukesh Sharma from Gurgaon assembly and Rao Narbir from Badshahpur. BJP workers protested against Narbir on Friday and appealed to give ticket to a worker working at the ground level.
Hundreds of BJP workers reached BJP’s Gurukamal office by taking out a foot march. The workers protested against giving ticket to Rao Narbir from Badshahpur. After the protest that lasted for about an hour, the workers returned. Party leaders say that the candidates angry at not getting the ticket are protesting and insisting on changing the tickets. On Thursday, candidates from Gurgaon and Sohna were also protested against.
Expressed displeasure: Mukesh Sharma, BJP’s candidate from Gurgaon assembly, took out a road show on Thursday night. On this, former BJP spokesperson Raman Malik posted the video on ‘X’ and wrote, ‘I want to say it clearly that I do not agree with this kind of behavior and attitude of BJP workers.’ He has also complained to the top leaders.
‘Ignoring the Vaishya community is not tolerated’
Aggarwal Vaishya Samaj Haryana has started openly opposing the cancellation of tickets of Vaishya Samaj leaders. State President of Aggarwal Vaishya Samaj Ashok Buwaniwala said that the tickets of Deepak Mangala from Palwal, Sudhir Singla from Gurgaon, Kavita Rajiv Jain from Sonipat and Pradeep Ratusaria from Sirsa were cancelled and given to people of other communities. Buwaniwala said that if Savitri Jindal from Hisar, Kavita Jain from Sonipat, Pankaj Jain from Bahadurgarh and Naveen Goyal from Gurugram contest the elections as independents, then the Vaishya Samaj will support them. State General Secretary of Aggarwal Vaishya Samaj Rajesh Singla and Balram Gupta said that the way BJP has ignored the people of Vaishya Samaj is intolerable. This will not be tolerated.
BJP district president Kamal Yadav said, “The top leadership of the party has been made aware of everything. We are waiting for the guidelines of the top leadership. There is resentment right now. Everyone will be convinced soon. We are all united in the organization. We will fight the elections strongly and win.”
