SSC CGL Tier-1 exam from 9 to 26 September, know the exam pattern

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2024: SSC CGL Tier-1 exam is to be conducted from 9 September to 26 September 2024. Through this exam, recruitment is to be done for Group B and C posts in various departments of the Central Government. About 30 lakh youth from all over the country have applied for this recruitment. Candidates appearing in this recruitment exam must carry a valid photo ID card (Aadhaar card, passport, driving license) along with their admit card to the exam center. Let us know the CGL Tier-1 exam pattern-

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern-

SSC CGL exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates will be asked 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) questions in the exam. Candidates will be given 2 marks for answering each question correctly. Candidates will be given 1 hour for this. SSC CGL Tier-1 paper is divided into four parts-

1. General Knowledge

2. Reasoning

3. Maths

4. English subject

Let us tell you that to pass the CGL Tier-1 exam, candidates of the general category will have to score 30 percent qualifying marks. Candidates of OBC and EWS category will have to score 25 percent qualifying marks and candidates of other categories will have to score 20 percent qualifying marks.

Central Information Commission (CIC)

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) – Ministry of Finance

Department of Posts – Ministry of Communications

Ministry of Textiles

Ministry of Mines

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)

National Investigation Agency (NIA) – Ministry of Home Affairs

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
