A tragic accident has occurred in Chhattisgarh. Four workers died and one is seriously injured due to the fall of a hopper full of coal in a refinery in Surguja district. Among the dead, 2 workers were from the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh and 2 were from Bihar. All four have been identified. After this accident, the police reached the spot. Relief and rescue work is being done. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The incident took place under Raghunath police station of Surguja. Workers were working at Maa Kundargarhi Alumina Refinery in Silsila village here on Sunday at around 11 am. During this time, a steel tower hopper filled with coal suddenly fell on the workers. In this incident, 4 workers died on the spot, while the condition of one remains critical. The deceased in this accident have been identified as Prince Thakur, Manoj Singh of Madhya Pradesh and Karanveer Manjhi and Rameshnar Manjhi of Bihar.
Giving information about this incident, an official said that the bodies of four workers have been recovered in this incident that took place in the refinery. Along with this, an injured worker has been sent to the hospital from here. His condition is critical. The injured is being treated. The official said that after the incident, rescue work started there and the injured was sent to the hospital. Now this matter is being investigated.
