शिक्षक भर्ती मामले पर मायावती ने कहा, सरकार अपना ईमानदार रूख अपनाए

Lucknow, September 10 (IANS). The Supreme Court has stayed the decision of the Allahabad High Court in the matter of recruitment of 69 thousand teachers in Uttar Pradesh. Regarding this, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati said that the government should adopt an honest stand in this matter.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati posted on social media platform X on Tuesday, “There should be no injustice done to the reserved category candidates in the UP teacher recruitment case. They must get their constitutional rights. Also, the government should adopt an honest stand in this matter so that no injustice is done to them.”

Let us tell you that the Supreme Court has stayed the High Court’s decision in the 69 thousand teacher recruitment case in Uttar Pradesh. The court had ordered to prepare a fresh merit list as per the reservation provision.

After the High Court’s order, the beneficiaries and losers of this decision are protesting in the state. Some candidates went to the Supreme Court against the High Court’s order, on which during the hearing, the court stayed the High Court’s decision and issued notice to all the parties. The Supreme Court will now hear the case next on September 25.

It is worth noting that a petition was filed in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court alleging neglect of reservation in the case of 69 thousand teacher recruitment. While hearing the case, the High Court had ordered to cancel the list of 69 thousand candidates selected in Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2019 and prepare a new list.

The government and other concerned were ordered to issue a new list within three months. The High Court said that if while preparing the new selection list, any assistant teacher currently working is adversely affected, then the benefit of the current session should be given so that the studies of the students are not disrupted.
