Islamabad: India’s neighboring country Pakistan has just been shaken by a strong earthquake. According to the National Center for Seismology, this earthquake occurred in Pakistan at around 1 pm. Its intensity on the Richter scale is estimated to be 5.8. The effect of the earthquake was felt from Afghanistan to India.
In India, mild tremors were felt in Indian cities including Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi and Noida. As per the information received so far, there is no report of any damage in India. Further details are awaited.
