The number of dengue patients in Patna district has started increasing rapidly. On Wednesday, 40 new dengue patients were identified in Patna. Whereas on Tuesday, 31 new dengue patients were found. In this way, the number of dengue patients has increased by about thirty percent in 24 hours. According to experts, this number will increase even more in the coming days. After finding 40 new patients, the number of dengue patients in Patna district has increased to 548.
Let us tell you that in the last 15 days, six patients have died due to dengue. The dengue hotspots in Patna include Kankarbagh, Bankipur, Nutan Rajdhani, Azimabad, Patna City, many localities of Pataliputra zone. On Wednesday, the Municipal Corporation dispatched 500 teams to control dengue.
Mayor Sita Sahu, Deputy Mayor Reshmi Kumari and members of the empowered standing committee flagged off the team. The team will also do physical verification of the old log book so that it can be known where and in which area fogging and anti-larva spraying has been done. The team will also take feedback from all the houses. A team will visit 50 houses every day and spray anti-larva. The team has also been registered. Each ward of the Municipal Corporation has been divided into 375 sectors.
The state has seen the highest number of new dengue patients in a single day this year. On Tuesday (September 10), 98 new dengue patients were found across the state. Of these, the highest number of 44 patients are in Patna. 8 dengue patients have been found in Jehanabad, 6 in Nalanda, 6 in Samastipur, 5 in Bhojpur, 4 in Begusarai, 4 in East Champaran, 4 in Saran, 4 in Bhagalpur, 3 in Vaishali, 3 in Purnia, 3 in Gaya, 2 in Aurangabad, 2 in Muzaffarpur and 2 in Siwan. One new dengue patient has been found in Kishanganj and West Champaran. From January 1 to 10, 1326 people have been affected by dengue in various districts of the state. Of these, Patna has seen the highest number of 614 patients. 80 have been affected by dengue in Gaya, 62 in Muzaffarpur, 57 in Samastipur, 53 in Nalanda and 32 in Vaishali.
